The Fox and Hound Canine Retreat is a luxury dog daycare, boarding, grooming salon, and canine activity destination set on a beautifully maintained 50-acre farm property in Bright’s Grove. Designed for social, active dogs and the humans who love them, we offer peace of mind paired with plenty of tail-wagging fun.
Our daycare program features thoughtfully structured playgroups, carefully matched by size, age, energy level, and play style. Dogs enjoy safe, supervised play across expansive indoor and outdoor spaces, seven days a week.
We offer premium overnight accommodations year-round, providing comfort, consistency, and attentive care, so you can travel or work late knowing your dog is settled and secure.
Our grooming salon is led by highly skilled stylists who continuously invest in education, staying current with leading grooming techniques, breed standards, and evolving industry trends. Using only top-tier, professional-grade products selected for both performance and coat health, our team delivers results that are as safe as they are stylish. From timeless finishes to modern looks, dogs leave our salon looking impeccable, comfortable, and confident. To maintain consistency and coat health, our salon clients are booked on a 6–8 week schedule up to 12 months in advance.
Our retail space features a carefully curated collection of premium natural nutrition. Including raw, fresh, and dry options, alongside high-quality treats, stylish accessories, and specialty training essentials.
Sunday mornings are reserved for our popular Puppy Socials, designed for puppies aged 4–6 months. These gatherings provide a safe, enriching environment for puppies to explore, play, and build confidence with their peers, while puppy parents relax, connect, and enjoy the moments.
From May through October, our Dock Diving, In-Ground Pool, and Splash Pad offer seasonal fun through private rentals and lessons, perfect for dogs who love to make a splash.
Each year, we proudly host our Annual Dog Festival, a lively community celebration featuring dock diving, off-leash play zones, stunt dog shows, live music, food, vendors, and more all in support of the Sarnia & District Humane Society. We also host seasonal Holiday and Open House events, including festive Christmas celebrations complete with tours, entertainment, and community cheer.
At The Fox and Hound, we’re more than a dog daycare we’re a social hub where dogs build friendships, gain confidence, and head home happily tired. We’re also a proud community partner and the home of the Purple Leash Program, supporting pets and people when they need it most.
